Well my dear friend. Here we are at the glorious age of 80. How did we get here so fast? Of course it has it's ups and downs but right now let's just celebrate the ups especially that we have been such good friends in life all these years. Have a splendid birthday. Life here at the Kenney has been envigorating for us active seniors but sometimes sad and painful when our new friends pass on to the next adventure.. happy for them and sad for us
who suffer the loss. I'm still enjoying the volunteering in the memory care unit here at the Kenney, ministering to thosse who are experiencing life in a demented state of being. Emotional feelings and sense of connection to varying degrees remains. My wife is directing our singing chorus, the Kenney singers of which I am a part. In our recent performance at our facility, I got to sing "If I were a rich man" from Fiiddler. What a hoot. Not quite ready for prime time but what fun we had putting it together.
Let me know what's happenning with you and for goodness sake, have a Happy Birthday. Hey, after all, we're in our 80th year of life on this troubled planet.
