IN LOVING MEMORY OF ROBERT S BROWN (by the Reunion committee for the 2022 reunion)
The Walnut Hills High School Class of 1960 honors Robert S Brown for his leadership, support, and generosity for our 60th + 2 Reunion, September 30 - October 2, 2022.
Although not with us in person, Bob sponsored the reunion events = The Meet and Greet on Friday evening at Skyline Chili in Downtown Cincinnati and the Sunday Brunch at Losantiville Country Club. We declare here our deep and abiding affection and appreciation for Bob, and we are bereaved at his loss. He is in our hearts and thoughts forever.

Martha Bahl Grant, 81, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 6th after a very short illness. She leaves behind her dear husband, Andy, her daughter, Jennifer Wierz (John), 2 granddaughters, Anna and Katie Lohmueller, as well as her cousin Ann Kranbuhl. She was predeceased by her parents -Dr. Charles D. Bahl and Jane Hilberg Bahl, her son Charles Merritt Grant and her 2 brothers- John Bahl (Martha) and William Forrest Bahl (Kathy). She leaves behind many cousins and nieces and nephews. Martha grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. She attended Walnut Hills High School, and the University of Arizona, and then transferred to the University of Cincinnati, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology. After graduating from college, Martha settled in Chicago, Illinois with her husband and new family for an extended stay (35 years). As her family grew up, she became active in many philanthropic activities including Arden Shore, and the Volunteer Board of Lake Forest Hospital. As an active member of Exmoor Country Club, Martha chaired the Women's Golf Program. Upon reaching the empty nester stage of life, Martha became a Travel Consultant with Ansbach Travel (specializing in foreign independent travel). She traveled the world inspecting properties and developed an outstanding information base to serve her clients. For years, her clients treasured the way she designed trips to spark and satisfy their wishes. After retiring from the travel business, Martha returned to Cincinnati, Indian Hill, to be close to her family. In Cincinnati, she continued her active life participating in the Children's Home, the Garden Club of Cincinnati, The Town Club, the Cincinnati Woman's Club and the Indian Hill Church Altar Guild. She was a member of The Camargo Club, Cincinnati Country Club, Queen City Club, and the Sea Pines Country Club of Hilton Head. Services will be held on Wednesday, April 17th at 11 am at The Indian Hill Church and burial will be at Spring Grove Cemetery. In honor of Martha's life and her courageous battle against cancer, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to The Christ Hospital Health Network Oncology Program C/O The Christ Hospital Foundation ,2123 Auburn Ave. Suite 528 , Cincinnati, Ohio 45219.
