I met Zoe, my wife and best friend, in college and we have been married since 1964. Our daughter, born 1968, is the mother of two daughters and she and her husband live in Michigan. Our son, born 1972, is a pilot with Southwest Airlines after 12 years in the Marines flying a Harrier fighter jet (including 2 tours in Iraq). He and his wife are parents of a little girl.
I spent 25 years in the private practice of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and as an adjunct professor of surgery at the University of Cincinnati. Following a rather early retirement as a result of back problems, I earned my PhD in Biblical Studies and Archaeology and now function as adjunct professor at Trinity Southwest University in Albuquerque, NM. I have been leading tours to Israel and Jordan for several years and also participate in an exciting archaeological excavation taking place in the Kingdom of Jordan at the north end of the Dead Sea.
