STEVE ROSENTHAL, M.D.

Beloved husband, father, and grandfather, age 64, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2006. Steve was born in Budapest, Hungary and moved to the United States when he was 5 years old. He was a graduate of Brown University and received his medical degree from University of Cincinnati. He moved to Reston in 1976 and served as a psychiatrist at Chestnut Lodge for over a decade. He then opened a private practice in Reston, where he saw patients for over twenty-five years. He is survived by his wife, Ellen Campbell, M.D.; his son, Josh Bartok and Josh's partner, Liz Roemer of Somerville, Massachusetts; his step-son, Andrew Campbell; step-daughter-in-law, Simone Flynn; grandson, Soren Campbell and granddaughter, Sasha Campbell, all of Amherst, MA. The Memorial Service will take place on Tuesday, September 19, 2006, at 10 o'clock in the morning at the Universalist Unitarian Congregation of Fairfax, 2709 Hunter Mill Road, Oakton, VA 22124 (phone: 703-271-4230).
