Hello, I didn't know George Finley, and I know very little about him, but I made his panel for the AIDS Memorial Quilt. I was the subsequent boyfriend of George's lover, W. Lee Autry, in the late 80s. A portion of George's ashes are inside the Curious George toy which I sewed onto the panel. I recalled he was from Ohio, as am I, and that he had published a magazine article about The Saint, an amazing nightclub that was in NYC's East Village. That's all I know. I hope this tiny bit of info may be of some use.
