Jane (nee Spoor), beloved wife of 46 years of Nicholas Longworth Fry II, dear sister of Richard Spoor, passed away Saturday October 1, 2011, age 69. Jane was a graduate of Walnut Hills High School (1960), obtained a BS in Biology (1964) and a Masters in British History (1965) from University of Cincinnati and pursued doctoral studies in the history of science and medicine. She was the curator of the Elliston Poetry Room at UC. In addition to her love of music and art, Jane's real passion was for horses. She excelled as a teacher, performer and judge in the equestrian discipline of dressage which she studied with, among others, Olympic gold medalist Dr. Reiner Klimke. She was a member of the US Dressage Federation. Requiem Mass will be 10:30am, Sat., Oct. 8, 2011 at Old St. Mary's Church, Cincinnati, Ohio. A reception will follow at the University Club, Cincinnati, Ohio.
